Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") within the framework of our services and our online offer, including associated websites, functions, and content, as well as external online presences such as our social media profiles (collectively referred to as "online offer"). Regarding the terminology used, such as "processing" or "controller," we refer to the definitions in Art. 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Types of Processed Data

Relevant Legal Bases

In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, we inform you of the legal bases of our data processing:

  • Consent: Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 7 GDPR.
  • Contractual Performance/Pre-contractual Inquiries: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Legal Obligation: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Legitimate Interests: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data Retention Periods

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose:

  • Contact form inquiries: 6 months after completion of the inquiry, unless longer retention is required for contractual purposes.
  • Server log files (IP addresses, access times): 30 days.
  • Analytics data: 14 months (anonymized after collection where possible).
  • Contractual data (orders, invoices): 10 years (commercial and tax retention obligations pursuant to § 257 HGB, § 147 AO).
  • Newsletter subscribers: Until withdrawal of consent.

After expiry of the retention period, data is deleted or anonymized unless further storage is legally required.

Rights of Data Subjects

  • Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to request confirmation as to whether data is being processed and to receive information about that data.
  • Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You have the right to request the completion or correction of incorrect data.
  • Right to Erasure/Restriction (Art. 17, 18 GDPR): You have the right to demand that data be deleted immediately or, alternatively, that its processing be restricted.
  • Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive the data you provided to us and to demand its transmission to other controllers.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): You have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
  • Right of Withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR): You can withdraw consent for future processing at any time.
  • Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to the future processing of your data at any time, particularly for direct marketing purposes.

Data Transfers to Third Countries

Where data is transferred to providers in the USA (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Automattic), these transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. For details about which cookies are used, their purposes, and retention periods, please see our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only set after you have given your consent via our cookie consent banner (Complianz). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

Contact Forms

When you contact us via contact form or email, your provided data (name, email address, message content) will be stored for the purpose of processing and responding to your inquiry. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual inquiries) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). Data is deleted after 6 months unless further retention is necessary.

Hosting

This website is hosted by All-Inkl.com (ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany). The hosting provider processes server log files (IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, time of access) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag) has been concluded with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
