  1. Polluted air passing through filter paper
  2. Filter paper absorbs black carbon (BC)
  3. bcMeter, basically a Photometer, measures attenuation at 880 nm
  4. Data is evaluated by Python script and saved as .csv
  5. Data is displayed in web browser
