Welcome to the bcmeter.org Wiki.
This Wiki is - as always - under permanent construction.
All our measurements were done with Pall T60A20 Quartz Filter Paper which sadly seems to be discontinued. We're testing alternatives and will publish them here - correction factors for filter papers. Tell us which paper you will use and send us a sample to calibrate the device against it!
We will provide you with all necessery informations to build your own black carbon measurement device.
- Working principle of the bcMeter
- Bill of material
- Parts used to build
- Assembly of the case
- Configuration of the bcMeter
- Download and archive the data
- Troubleshooting
- The fine print
